Yasmin L. Stump: Speaker at the seminar hosted by the National Business Institute (NBI)
Yasmin L. Stump, President and founder of Yasmin L. Stump Law Group, PC, spoke at the National Business Institute (NBI) Real Estate Law Boot camp Seminar. The event took place at the Capital Conference Center, in Indianapolis.
The two-day seminar which began on August 2nd was attended by several people from all over Indiana. The seminar discussions revolved around types of real estate transactions and transaction procedures; closing process and closing documentation; routinely negotiated provisions in real estate leases; liens and other common types of title defects; zoning law, variances and permits; environmental laws and liabilities that impact real estate.
Yasmin spoke on the topic of Easements in Land Acquisitions and Purchases on August 2nd. Her presentation focused on the overview of easements, impact of easements on the larger real estate parcel and the valuation of easements.
The 2-day seminar featured over seven hours of CLE and IACET credit courses each day. Also, the event provided the participants with an opportunity to gain fundamental knowledge for real estate practitioners and non lawyer professionals such as real estate agents/brokers, title professionals, lending professionals, engineers, surveyors and paralegals.
