Jon is an associate attorney with YLSLG and focuses his practice on real estate transactions and real estate litigation, including eminent domain and brings five years of experience as an attorney with him. Prior to joining the YLSLG team, Jon’s career began in New York City (“NYC”), where he managed business transactions and corporate governance with a large international firm. More recently, Jon has engaged as in-house counsel for a regional real estate firm, where his practice ranged from governance and broker licensing to managing multimillion dollar farmland transactions.

In addition to his legal experience, Jon has relied on his business background to manage the internal operations of a family-run consulting services business. Jon graduated from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana with a B.A. in Political Science and a joint Juris Doctorate and M.B.A. from New York University’s (“NYU”) School of Law and Stern School of Business in NYC. During this time, Jon led NYU’s Law and Business Association and was an editor for the Journal of International Law and Policy.

Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and cooking. He spent five years chasing the sun in his camper van that he self-converted with his dad’s assistance, rock climbing and traveling throughout the American West.
