Che’lee is an associate attorney with YLSLG and focuses her practice in the areas of real estate transactions and litigation, including eminent domain, condemnation and appeals.

Prior to joining the YLSLG team, Che’lee worked in the areas of commercial and business litigation as well as estate and elder law. Before entering private practice, Che’lee served as a judicial law clerk to Honorable Nancy H. Vaidik with the Indiana Cout of Appeals. Che’lee brings her diverse litigation experience and appellate expertise to her legal work.

Che’lee graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire with a B.A. in Native American Studies and Psychology and obtained her Juris Doctorate from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in Phoenix, Arizona. While in law school, Che’lee was selected for the Udall Native American Congressional Internship (awarded to only 12 Native Americans for service in Indian Country) and was an active executive member of the Moot Court Board and Student Bar Association.

Che’lee is a proud citizen of the Navajo Nation (Diné) and outside of work enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, who is also an attorney. She is a horse girl at heart and is in the process of returning to the hunter/jumper arena with her retired racehorse Blazing Fireflies, aka Blaze. In her spare time, Che’lee runs a bespoke luxury spray tan business and loves helping her clients feel their best!
