YLSLG Becomes NAMWOLF Member

Yasmin L. Stump Law Group, PC (YLSLG) was recently approved for membership in the distinguished National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF). YLSLG is only one of two Indiana-based law firms that are NAMWOLF members.

NAMWOLF, a non-profit association founded in 2001, advances diversity in the legal profession, primarily by connecting public organizations and corporations with women and minority-owned law firms, which are proven to provide exceptional legal representation to their clients. Yasmin L. Stump, YLSLG president and founder, said: “I am very pleased that our firm has been accepted as a member of this prestigious organization. The YLSLG team looks forward to actively participating in NAMWOLF and to the exciting new opportunities created through our firm’s participation.”

Membership in NAMWOLF is not easy. Applicants for membership go through a rigorous vetting process, which is intended to determine and validate an applicant law firm’s experience and reputation, as well as dedication to diversity in the legal profession. When NAMWOLF receives an application for membership, an independent review of the applicant law firm is completed, and the NAMWOLF Board of Directors makes the ultimate decision about membership. YLSLG is pleased to have been chosen for membership in this selective organization and looks forward to maintaining its dedication to diversity and exceptional legal representation for the firm’s clients throughout Indiana.

YLSLG is a member of several organizations that promote diversity and opportunities for women and minority-owned businesses, and YLSLG holds several certifications as a woman-owned firm. In fact, YLSLG is the only law firm in Indiana certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the State of Indiana, City of Indianapolis and with the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the State of Indiana.
